The Creator Code
CONTENT INTEGRITY FRAMEWORK · EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY
May cause uncomfortable self-reflection, self-doubt, shame scrolling, or deleting your last post. If symptoms of guilt or denial persist — don’t blame the post. Blame your strategy.
In a world full of reposts without sources, stolen ideas with new logos, and “inspirational” fake vibes with filters on top — sometimes all you need is one simple question: Where’s the integrity?
// I’ve got no growth hacks. No masterclass.
// No “10x your engagement” form. Only this:

§01If it’s not your idea, ask. And if you use it, say where it’s from.
§02Reach isn’t a free pass. If you move people, you carry responsibility.
§03Inspiration ≠ Copy. Your flow begins where you add something of your own.
§04If you’re not ready to hear criticism — better don’t post.
§05“Not sponsored” doesn’t mean “not valuable.”
§06Would you still post it if no one clapped — but it helped one person think?
§07Giving credit isn’t a break of style — it is style.
§08If you claim to be real — then be real.
You don’t need to be an influencer to have influence.

Because in the end, real influence doesn’t echo in stats — it echoes in people.

So before you post again: it’s not about performance.
It’s about respect. Responsibility. Humanity. Even online.

If this post made you uncomfortable — ask yourself why. Not me.
// PS: Don’t just copy this post and remove the name.
// That’d be breaking §01.
// It’s not a rant. A reminder. For those who still care about craft.

The Creator Code: Compromised
SOURCE: BUTTY (2023) · RULE §01 VIOLATED · PERPETRATOR IDENTIFIED

Two German animation students. Their short film — Butty. Uploaded to YouTube. A test. Not a pitch. Not a launch. Just art.

Then someone stole it. Renamed it. Sent it to festivals. Won awards. Applause. Praise.

They watched their work go viral — in someone else’s name.

So they flew to the U.S. Tracked him down. Confronted him — with cameras rolling.

EXHIBIT A — PERPETRATOR STATEMENT (VERBATIM)
“Uhm… you guys have PayPal? I guess the money’s actually yours.”
// Yes. He really said that.

But here’s the twist: he gave it all back. The trophies. The credit. The story.

And they? They invited him to work on the next film. Together.

Because real creators don’t just fight for recognition. They fight for respect. And sometimes — they build something even stronger from what was broken.

RESOLUTION SUMMARY
All trophies, credits and proceeds returned to original creators. Perpetrator cooperated fully upon confrontation. Parties reconciled. Case closed with attribution restored.
Thank you Julius Drost and Moritz Henneberg — for your art, your grace, and for reminding us what §01 truly means.
